Food for the Poor Nepal is a charitable initiative developed by the Netherlands-based Wise-Project Foundation, aiming to fulfil a vision set by Lama Gangchen Rinpoche in 1991. Jan de Ruiter, the CEO of Mani Bhadra-Phoenix Import, is the founder and coordinator of this project, which focuses on providing aid and resources to people in need in Nepal.

How we work

Community engagement:
We engage the local community through awareness campaigns.

Nutrition focus:
Daily fresh vegetarian meals with a variety of rice, lentils and vegetables.

Sustainability:
With the help of sponsors, we can distribute 80-100 meals daily.
